At first, Flathead Conservation District asked me just to help them make a few changes to their existing site. But when we sat down and started talking, it became clear that the easiest path to the site of their dreams was to just start over with a new theme. Luckily, we decided this right at the beginning of an in person meeting, and their team was on board to just go for it. So within one day, we had a completely refreshed website for them.
There are a couple of things I loved about this project:
- It happened so fast! While I ironed out some of the technical stuff, they checked out the content and updated it. When I had a question about a layout, or what they wanted to feature on the homepage, they were right there to answer and the change was made immediately.
- The compliments we’ve gotten! Several other Conservation Districts have emailed me, basically saying that they want the same thing. Which is definitely a compliment. And Valerie sent me this note the other day:
